Resident Can Continue Deer Hunt On His Property
Reston Association extends application through 2014.
The Reston Association
At its regular meeting on Thursday, the board of directors approved Dan Grove's request to continue the hunt at his property at 1916 Buckthorn Lane.
Grove, who says several members of his family are suffering from Lyme disease caused by deer ticks, was granted permission from RA last year, provided he follows Virginia code as to time of day, time of year hunt weapons and other categories.

New Development: The board drafted a letter to Hunter Mill Supervisor Cathy Hudgins asking that all future residential development become part of Reston Association.
The letter requested that the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors adopt a motion to include this in the updated Reston Master Plan.
