RA To Hold Board Meeting As Scheduled Thursday

Vote expected on 2011 assessment rate.

Despite many closings due to snow, the Reston Association Board of Directors meeting will go on as scheduled Thursday at 7.p.m. in the Reston Association headquarters.

The highlight of the agenda:  the board is expected to vote on the 2011 assessment rate.

Scheduled to hear recommendations from the pedestrian and bicycling committee on walkways and bicycle routes. The committee will be submitting its recommendations to the Reston Master Plan Special Study.

Advocating that Virginia congressmen and senators do all they can to ensure that Reston remains in one congressional and one senatorial district as the state moves towards redistricting.  The Board will read a draft of the letter and then vote to move forward with it.
