Bird Walk Leaders Bill Brown, Matt Bender and Joanne Bauer were honored by Reston Association for their volunteer commitment over the last six years.
The trio has logged countless hours along Reston's trails and natural areas, looking for elusive and beautiful birds and leading others on these walks.
They are among a dozen volunteers who have led these walks each month for the last six years. The awards were presented by the Reston Association Environmental Advisory Committee.
