My favorite place in Reston is - my deck on Lake Anne

What makes Reston special?  Its people, its diversity, its natural areas, its urban to rural feel, the ability to walk to just about anywhere including work, the lakes, and all the amenities.  All this -- just outside Washington, DC.

If I had one thing I could single handedly change it would be - getting many, many more members to be involved.

Three things the board needs to do in the next three years...

  1. Ensure the Association's interests and needs are considered in the redevelopment and revitalization of our community
  2. Continuing to raise awareness of the power of civic engagement and responsibility;
  3. Allocate appropriate financial resources to sustain and enhance the Association's infrastructure.
