Senate candidates, Rail to Dulles and Chamber ACE Awards all on the docket for week of June 25.

1. Talking Rail as Decision Day Nears

Gov. Bob McDonnell is coming to town to talk about Rail to Dulles.

McDonnell will be a special guest at the Dulles Corridor Rail Association's Mid-Year Meeting and Reception on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Washington Dulles off of Route 28.

Also in the house: Virginia  Secretary of Transportation Sean Connaughton and Director of Rail and Public Transportation Thelma Drake and Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott York and other members and friends of DCRA.

2.  Senate Tech Town Hall

U.S. Senate Candidates Tim Kaine (D) and George Allen (R) will appear the Northern Virginia Technology Council's Town Hall Forum on Thursday at 7:45 a.m. at Reston's Microsoft Offices on Sunset Hills Road. 4. Chamber Honors members with ACE Awards 

The will host its annual luncheon and ACE Awards at the to honor members who have demonstrated excellence and innovation over the last year. Guest speaker is Paul Hewitt, coach of the George Mason University men's basketball team. More details here.

5. Camp Begins!

The first session of camp season begins Monday. Is your kid heading to an RA camp? Make sure he or she has the standard yellow T-shirt and some sunscreen. There still may be a few spaces left for some sessions this summer. Check with RA here.
