Fewer Than 10 Percent Have Voted For RA Seats

With nine days to go, only 8.91 of eligible At-Large voters have cast ballots in Reston Association election.

With nine days to go in the election, fewer than 10 percent of eligible voters have returned ballots or voted online for the two open At-Large seats.

As of Thursday, 8.91 percent (2,234 votes) of the 25,062 eligible At-large voting households had voted.

A 10 percent quorum (2,507 votes) is needed for a candidate to be elected.

Meanwhile, 13.34 percent (832 votes) of the eligible 6,239 voting households have returned ballots for the South Lakes Director's seat. Richard Chew, a board member from 2007-10, is running unopposed for that spot.
