Fairfax County Plans Open House for Silver Line's Wiehle-Reston Bike Room

If you're a cyclist who plans to use the new Silver Line, you may be interested in attending an open house coming up next month about how to use the bike room at the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail station.
Fairfax County will be holding an open house and ribbon-cutting for the room on Saturday, July 19, according to Fairfax Advocates for Better Bicycling.
The Silver Line opens to the public on Saturday, July 26.
"We've heard that bike trains will be converging on the station around 9:30 a.m. followed by a bike parade," the FABB blog reports. A formal program is scheduled for 10 a.m. followed by the ribbon-cutting. Bike organizations and bike shops will have information tables.
