Community Softball Game Cancelled - Again
Makeup of Aug. 18 event won't happen Wednesday.
The community softball game scheduled for Wednesday evening at
South Lakes High School has been cancelled - again.
The game, between the Reston Road Dawgs from the Fairfax County Police Reston District Station and staff of WPGC 95.5 was originally supposed to have been played Aug. 18, but severe storms that day postponed the game and community cookout to Sept. 1.
County Supervisor (Hunter Mill District) Cathy Hudgins was sponsor of the game. Her office said the game was cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances."
