Chinese Financial Group Learns About Reston

Delegation from Jiangsu Province takes a look at public-private partnerships here.

A delegation of financial leaders from China spent the day in Reston last week. The 22 representatives from the Jiangsu Province financial department and cities within the province came to learn about redevelopment in Lake Anne and how public-private partnerships work in Reston.

The group spent the morning with Reston founder Robert E. Simon and heard from Fairfax County Hunter Mill District Supervisor Cathy Hudgins on partnerships that benefit the county and community of Reston.  The delegation also took a video tour of the most prominent example of public-private financial partnerships— the building of the parking garage at the Reston Station.
