Two Burglaries Reported on Winterthur Lane

Incidents reported by the Fairfax County Police for the week ending Sept. 28. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Residents reported two similar burglaries on Winterthur Lane on Sept. 20 and 21.

A resident of the 11000 block of Winterthur told police an electronic keyboard was taken from her home on Sept. 20 about 2:30 a.m.

The suspect ran out the rear sliding door. Entry was made through an unlocked rear door.

The next night about 7:15 p.m. in the 11900 block of Winterthur, a resident reported someone entered her home and stole her purse. Entry was made through an unlocked rear door.

SEX OFFENSE, 12100 block of Pinecrest Road, 9/22/12, 4:15 p.m. The victim was walking to the community center when an unknown man approached from behind and grabbed her breasts. He fled when the victim screamed. She was not injured.

BURGLARY, 12300 block of Tigers Eye Court, 9/23/12, 5 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include laptop computers. Forced entry was made through the front door.
