Teen Charged With Abduction in Robbery

Fairfax County Police charge 15 year old after he allegedly abducted a Wells Fargo employee during robbery attempt.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested after he allegedly abducted an employee of the Wells Fargo Bank at 11842 Sunrise Valley Dr. last week.

The boy, whose name was not released by Fairfax County Police because he is a juvenile, was attempting to rob the bank about 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30.

The suspect was taken to the county juvenile detention center and charged with abduction. The victim, a 36-year-old man, was not injured.

Other incidents reported by the Fairfax County Police Reston Station for the week ending Jan. 6:

* There were three auto thefts -  a 1999 Toyota was taken from the 12000 block of Bowman Towne Drive; an Audi was stolen from the 12000 block of Market Street; and a Toyota Camry was taken from the 10800 block of Oldfield Drive.
