Sign Up Now for Citizens Fire Rescue Academy
The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department is offering a citizens academy for the first time. Applications are being accepted through Feb. 18.
The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department is offering its first-ever Citizens Fire and Rescue Academy.
Residents ages 18 and older can apply to learn about fire suppression, emergency medical services, training, special operations and more.
The academy begins March 28 and classes will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday evenings for nine weeks at various locations in Fairfax County.

Applications are open through Feb. 18, and the class size is limited to 25 people.
