Reston-Area Crime: Three Residents Report Burglaries
Fairfax County Police say break-ins were through unlocked doors and windows.
Three residents reported burglaries to Fairfax County Police last week. In each case, entry was made through an unlocked door or window.
The first incident occurred on Sept. 13, when a resident reported someone entered their home in the 11400 block of Waterview Cluster. Property was taken, but police did not provide details on the items.
The second incident was on Sept. 14 in the 11600 block of Charter Oak Court on Sept. 14. A resident reported someone entered the home and took electronic equipment. There were no signs of forced entry.
The third burglary was also on Sept. 14. in the 11900 block of Barrel Cooper Court. A resident reported someone entered the home and took electronic equipment. Forced entry was made through a window.
