Reston Police Blotter: Thefts at SLHS

Incidents reported by the Fairfax County Police for the week ending Jan. 18. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Several electronic items were stolen from South Lakes High School last week.

Students and faculty reported two cell phones, an electronic device and a set of headphones were taken from the school at 11400 South Lakes Dr.

It is not known whether the items were taken on the same day.

BURGLARY, 11900 block of Barrel Cooper Court, 8 p.m. on Jan. 12 -  A resident reported someone entered the home and stole a laptop computer. Forced entry was made through a side door.

BURGLARY, 12000 block of Lake Newport Road, 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 5 -  A resident reported someone entered the home and stole cash. Forced entry was made through a garage door.

13000 block of Farthingale Drive, cell phone from vehicle

12000 block of Greywing Square, laptop computer from vehicle

13900 block of Metrotech Drive, license plate from vehicle

1400 block of North Point Village Center, liquor from business

700 block of Seneca Road, jewelry from residence

 2200 block of Wheelwright Court, cell phone from school
