Police Blotter: Robbery on Cartwright Place

Incidents reported by the Fairfax County Police for week ending Jan. 4. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A teenager reported to police he was robbed in the 2100 block Cartwright Place at 8:45 p.m. on Dec. 27.

The 14-year-old victim was walking home when three teenagers approached and stole several items from him. One suspect was found by officers. An investigation is continuing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE - A 37-year-old victim said she saw a man staring at her while exposing himself in the 11900 block of Bowman Towne Drive at 6:40 p.m Dec. 27. The suspect was identified and charges are pending.

BURGLARY -  A 55-year-old woman reported that prescription medication was stolen from her apartment in the 1500 block of Cameron Crescent Drive while she slept. There were no signs of forced entry in the incident around 11 p.m. Dec. 29.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY - An employee of the Crescent Apartments complex reported that an unoccupied apartment was entered between Dec.  31 and  Jan. 1. The suspects damaged the interior walls and door.

 UNLAWFUL ENTRY - A woman, hired as a dog walker, began to exit a client’s home in the 12000 block of Edgemere Circle at 5 p.m. Jan. 2 with a dog and was met by another woman who reportedly walked into the home uninvited.

The dog walker was able to get the woman out of the home and called police.

An investigation led to the arrest of Kheryn Klubnikin, 60, of 1972 Winterport Circle in Reston. She was charged with unlawful entry.
