Incidents reported by Fairfax County Police for the week ending Oct. 21

Burglary: A home in the 11100 block of Chessington Place was burglarized between 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and 6 a.m. the next day.

An investigation determined entry was gained through an open garage door and money, credit cards and a cell phone were missing.

Burglary: A home in the 10500 block of Brevity Drive was burglarized between midnight and 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13. An investigation determined entry was gained through an unlocked door and a purse and wallet were missing.

A gun was stolen from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Beacontree Lane

A wallet was stolen from a business in the 11900 block of Bowman Towne Drive

A computer was stolen from a business in the 12000 block of Bowman Towne Drive

 An iPod and a video game were stolen from a residence in the 1800 block of Cameron Glen Drive.

A package was stolen from a residence in the 11800 block of Dunlop Court   

A computer bag, a watch and a GPS were stolen from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Fountain Drive

A purse was stolen from 11300 block of  French Horn Lane

Cash was stolen from a business at Hunters Woods Plaza

Jewelry was stolen from a business in the 12000 block of North Shore Drive   

Plates were stolen from a vehicle at Walnut Branch Road/Sierra Woods Drive 

Beer was stolen from a business in the 1800 block of Wiehle Avenue

A Honda Passport was stolen from the 11800 block of Shire Court
