Reston Police Blotter

Incidents reported by the Fairfax County Police for the week ending Nov. 16. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

BURGLARY, 2000 block of Adams Hill Road, 11/9/12, 7:40 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include a computer. Entry was made through an unlocked rear sliding door.

FORGERY, 1800 block of Michael Faraday Court, 11/9/12, 8:45 p.m. Officers were called for an alleged counterfeit $20 bill. The bill was presented by a 14-year-old. An investigation continues.

LARCENY, 1600 block of Bachan Court, 11/12/12, 4 p.m. A victim reported that she raking leaves in a common area and saw a suspect change shoes at the curb. She returned home and found that a pair shoes was missing from the open garage. The suspect was not found.


A bottle of liquor was taken from a business at North Point Village Center

A laptop computer was taken from a school in the 11400 block of Ridge Heights Road

A wallet was taken from a business in the 1800 block of Town Center Parkway
