BURGLARY, 1400 block of Southwind Court, 10/7/12, 9 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Forced entry was made through the front door.

SEX OFFENSE, 12100 block of Sunset Hills Road, 10/7/12, 12:40 p.m. The victim was returning to his car when the suspect approached and solicited sex. The male suspect fled when the victim refused.


A laptop was stolen from a vehicle in the 11900 block of Democracy Drive

Tools were stolen from a business in the 11200 block of Leesburg Pike

A wallet was stolen from a business in the 11900 block of Market Street

A laptop was stolen from a residence in the 11600 block of North Shore Drive


A 2004 Mazda RX8 was stolen from the 12000 block of Market Street
