Reston Police Blotter

Incidents reported by the Fairfax County Police Reston District Station for the week ending Sept. 7. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

ASSAULT, 11900 block of Freedom Place, 9/01/12, 2:20 a.m. Three men reported being assaulted by six other adult males in a parking garage. A 27-year-old man was treated for a non life-threatening injury.

PEEPING, 10200 block of Cedar Pond Drive, 09/03/12, 1:20 a.m. A resident reported someone looking through a front window of her home. Suspect described as a white male, 25-30 years old, dark hair and dark facial hair.

BURGLARY, 11800 block of Breton Court, 9/5/12, 7:15 a.m. A resident reported someone entered her home and stole a laptop computer and purse. Entry was made through an unlocked rear door.


Sneakers were taken from business on Becontree Drive

Copper fittings were taken from a business on Edmund Halley Drive

A box of shoes was taken from a business at Hunter Wood Plaza                     

Cash was taken from a vehicle on Ridge Heights Road

Anyone know what happened at Archstone Reston landing apartments on Friday September 7th there was a "long" police investigations and a body pulled from apartment at end of day .

A stabbing? Anyone know of any truth to this? Would really like to know what happened. Police were out there forever

Everyone - if there is foul play, the police has info for us. Many times the police calls are not crime situations (ie, a domestic argument, death by natural causes or a potentially suicidal person). We generally don't report on those unless there is a threat to public safety. But if I get any info I will certainly print it here promptly.
