Reston Crime Report: Robbery on North Shore

Juvenile suspects stole cash and groceries, police said.

Police are looking for suspects in a robbery of a man who walking on North Shore Drive on Monday night.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, told police he was walking in the 11600 block of North Shore Drive about 10:30 p.m. He said he was walking home when three unknown juveniles approached him. They searched the victim, stole his cash and groceries, and fled, he said. The victim was not injured.

BURGLARY, 1700 block of Lake Shore Crest Drive, April 14, 10:30 p.m. A resident reported someone forced entry through a sliding glass door and stole money.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2200 block of Castle Rock Square, April 15, 7 a.m. An employee reported someone entered a vacant unit. Nothing was stolen, and forced entry was made through a window.

LARCENIES:

2100 block of Centreville Road, five boxes of clothing from business

11500 block of Maple Ridge Road, rear license plate from vehicle

2500 block of Centreville Road, beer from business

1800 block of Discovery Street, tire from vehicle

10500 block of Leesburg Pike, two packs of beer from business

4500 block of Market Commons Drive, wallet from business
