Report: Alleged Predator at HW Village Center

Woman tells police her daughter was touched inappropriately.

Update: 4:25 p.m. Aug. 17 - Officer Bud Walker of the FCPD says the suspect is in custody in another jurisdiction.

His name has not yet been released because he has not been processed by Fairfax County. Patch will have more details when they are available.

Original story: A woman reported to Fairfax County Police that her daughter was fondled by a man at Village Center on Aug. 10.

The girl's mother says her daughter, age 9, was sitting outside a store at Hunters Woods about 8 p.m. when she was approached by the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black man, 25-30 years old, about six feet tall. He was wearing a pink women's shirt and white skinny jeans.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 11500 block of North Shore Drive, Aug. 12, 2012, 8:45 a.m. Lifeguard arrived at pool and discovered someone entered the pool overnight. Nothing appeared stolen or destroyed. Entry was made by climbing over the fence.

PEEPING, 13300 block of Hungerford Place, Aug. 12, 2012, 11:50 p.m. A 40-year-old woman reported a man peeping into her basement window. The woman yelled and the suspect ran away. The suspect was described as Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall and heavyset. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and long, dark-colored shorts.
