Police Seek Teen Rape Suspect

Reston girl, 13, says she was assaulted by another 13 year old near Hunters Woods Village Center.

Fairfax County Police are seeking a 13-year-old boy suspected of sexually assaulting a Reston girl, also 13, on April 13, The Fairfax Times reports.

According to a search warrant affidavit filed in Fairfax County Circuit Court, the girl walked with a juvenile cousin to the Hunter Woods Safeway, where she met the boy.

The girl’s cousin then left the girl alone with the boy, who allegedly assaulted her in the nearby woods, the affidavit said. Court documents say the girl told her parents she was raped, and her parents then contacted police. The affidavit says the girl was taken to a hospital, where it was determined she had injuries “consistent with the allegations reported to law enforcement.”
