Police Report: Helicopter Search, Assault

Incidents reported by the Fairfax County Police through April 1. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Police were unsuccessful in a helicopter and K9 search for a burglary suspect on Monday night.

A resident of the 12500 block of Thunder Chase Drive told police that about 11:50 p.m. someone entered the home and stole a purse.

The suspect made a forced entry through a rear door. The helicopter and a K-9 team assisted in searching for the suspect, but no one was located.

In separate and unrelated incidents:

BURGLARY, 11500 block of Southington Lane, March 29, 10:20 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Forced entry was made through a window.

GRAFFITI, 2200 block of Emerald Heights Court, March 29, 11 a.m. A resident reported letters spray painted on a fence. The owner was notified to remove the graffiti.

GRAFFITI, 2200 block of Astoria Circle, March 30, 3:20 p.m. A resident reported words were written on a door. The owner was notified to remove the graffiti. 

ASSAULT, 11900 block of Market Street, March 31, 12:45 a.m. Officer responded for an alleged drunk and disorderly individual. Logan Bonjur, 23, of Reston, allegedly became combative with officers and was charged with assault on a police officer. 

BURGLARY, 1600 block of Sierra Woods Court, March 31, 2:55 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the home, but nothing was stolen. Forced entry was made through a window.

1800 block of Discovery Street, suit from vehicle

12100 block Eddyspark Drive, checks from residence

11900 block of Market Street, iPhone from residence

1400 block of Roundleaf Court, package from residence

11600 block of Stoneview Square, purse from residence

1800 block of Town Center Parkway, prescription medication from business
