Police Blotter: Week Ending Feb. 25

A look at crime in the Reston area.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY/DRUNK IN PUBLIC/ARREST: Police arrested a man for unlawfully entering a home in the 1700 block of Jonathan Way around 4:35 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19.

 Tyler P. Nations, 28, 11712 Providence Circle #A in Reston, was charge with unlawful entry and drunk in public.

 ROBBERY: A 39-year-old man was robbed of his cell phone in the 2300 block of Hunters Woods Plaza around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20. The suspect was described as black, between 15 and 19 years old and 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. The suspect was seen with a small group of other teenagers. The victim did not require medical attention

ROBBERY: Three men entered a pizza restaurant in the 2400 block of Centerville Road in the Herndon area of Fairfax County on Monday, Feb. 21, shortly before 9 p.m.

Two of the men were armed with handguns; one announced a robbery. One suspect obtained an unknown amount of cash from the register and all employees were robbed of personal items; there were no injuries. The suspects fled east on foot from the front of the business.

All three suspects were described as having light skin, unknown age, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 to 175 pounds, dressed in all black. A laptop computer was stolen from a business in the 11900 block of Bowman Towne Drive

A license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 11100 block of Lakespray Way

A laptop computer was stolen from a South Lakes High School

A 2009 Infiniti Q56 was stolen from the 10100 block of Squires Trail
