Officials Called to USGS to Investigate Envelope Containing White Powder

Officials say it is not a threat.

Fairfax County Police were called to the in Reston on Monday when an envelope with white power on the outside was found in the building, 9News Now reported.

Officials found it to be non hazardous.

FBI spokeswoman Lindsey Godwin says preliminary information is that the incident is  unrelated  to the suspicious packages containing white powder that were delivered to a number of DC school locations last week.
