Morning Accident Ties Up Traffic on Fairfax County Parkway

Three people were taken by ambulance to Inova Farifax Hospital on Thursday after a two-car accident on Fairfax County Parkway at Lake Newport Road.

Fairfax County Police said a Nissan Sentra was trying to make a left onto Lake Newport from the parkway, when a Honda CRV went through the intersection about 10:30 a.m.

The drivers of both cars and a passenger in the CRV were taken to the hospital with non life treatening injuries.
