Haynesworth Road Rage Trial Postponed Until Next Week

 The assault trial for Washington Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth,   scheduled to begin Thursday, has been postponed until next week.

 Haynesworth may be in the process of settling the matter with the alleged victim, which is allowed under Virginia law. The trial is now scheduled for next Tuesday.

. The man told investigators he made a gesture at the driver of a pickup truck he thought was following too closely on the Fairfax County Parkway near The two vehicles stopped and the truck's driver, later identified as Haynesworth, got out of his pickup and allegedly punched the other driver.

Haynesworth's agent, Chad Speck, has said his client is innocent.
