Fairfax County Police Charge Son in Great Falls Homicide
Stabbing in man's home on July 4.
A Great Falls man has been charged with homicide after his father was found stabbed in a home in the 1200 block of Colvin Meadows Lane.
Police from the Fairfax County Police's Reston District Station responded to the home on Monday, July 4 around 10:15 p.m. after a report of a break-in and stabbing.
Police discovered the body of 62-year-old Lawrence Emmer with trauma to the upper body. Police arrested 25-year-old Casey Emmer of 1223 Colvin Meadow Ln., and charged him with homicide.

This is the sixth homicide in Fairfax County in 2011.
