Police: Butt Stabber May Have Sixth Victim in Fairfax

The Fairfax County Police Department is investigating a sixth butt stabbing incident they believe is

On Monday, a 21-year-old woman said she felt a pinch on her butt while shopping at T.J. Maxx in Fairfax Towne Center on June 8. When she turned around, she saw a man picking up clothes and thought she had been cut by a hanger — a sequence similar to other reports of butt stabbings.

She later discovered cuts in her clothes.

No medical treatment was required.

Police believe the six incidents are connected to one suspect. Last week, Police released the locations of the five other incidents:

  • Feb. 14 near Champps in Fair Oaks Mall
  • May 15 at Ann Taylor in Fair Oaks Mall
  • June 18 at H&M in Tysons Corner Mall
  • June 20 at Marshalls in Greenbriar Shopping Center
  • July 25 at Forever 21 in Fair Oaks Mall

The suspect is described as hispanic, late 20’s, around 5 feet 6 inches tall and heavy-set. He wore white shorts and a short-sleeved shirt in the July 25 assault.
