No Injuries in Reston Apartment Fire

Cause of blaze under investigation.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a one-alarm fire in the 1600 block of Beacontree Lane in Reston about 3:20 p.m. on Thursday.

Flames were seen coming from the second story of the three-story garden complex. Firefighters said several units were damaged.

Deputy Fire Chief James Walsh said firefighters rescued several people from apartment balconies. There were no injuries, Walsh said.

The blaze was under control in about half an hour.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
