Day Camper Home From Hospital After Pool Rescue
RA investigation shows proper procedures were followed.
The young boy who received medical attention at a pool is now home from the hospital.
The seven-year-old, who attends RA's Day Camp, went into distress at Reston Association lifeguards and Fairfax County Fire and Rescue staff administered CPR and the child was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Meantime, as is standard practice, Reston Association conducted a thorough review of the incident and determined that all protocol and procedures specific to the incident were followed, a RA spokeswoman said.
