Crime Report: Armed Robbery At Lake Anne, Plus Several Burglaries

A man at a business in the 1600 block of Washington Plaza was robbed at gunpoint on Sept. 10, Fairfax County Police said.

A suspect came into the business shortly before 11 p.m. brandishing a handgun, said police. He grabbed a laptop and fled. A 30-year-old man was in the business but was not injured.

Police searched for the suspect on foot and by helicopter, but he was not found police said.

BURGLARY, 2400 block of Dakota Lakes Drive, Sept. 6. A resident reported someone entered the home but nothing was stolen. Forced entry was made through a rear window.

BURGLARY, 12700 block of Bradwell Road, Sept. 8. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include an iPad. Forced entry was made through a door.

PEEPING, 1500 block of Northgate Square, Sept. 8. A 19-year-old girl saw a man looking into her window. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.

BURGLARY, 2100 block of Green Watch Way, 9/11/13. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include an electronic tablet. There were no signs of forced entry.
