Put Spring In Your Step

Each cancer patient and survivor has a different tolerance to exercise, so start with a walk to your mailbox. Your body will tell you when you are ready for a gradual increase in duration and distance. When you feel that you aren’t tired or out of breath with your current distance, you can start walking down the block, around the block and on a trail in your local area. Although I enjoy the tranquility of walking by myself in the morning hours, reflecting on the day ahead, many people enjoy walking with a buddy or while listening to music or an audio book.
