Reston Man Dies in Colorado Ski Accident

Robert Redmond, 45, injured Sunday at Breckenridge.

A Reston man died Wednesday after a ski accident in Colorado.

Robert Redmond, 45, struck a tree Sunday while skiing at the Breckenridge Ski Resort, the Associated Press reports. He suffered head injuries and died Wednesday at a hospital in Denver.

Redmond was a graduate of George Mason University was wearing a helmet, according to the Associated Press.

Redmond worked as a real estate agent at Century 21 New Millennium in Chantilly.  He is survived by his mother, Mary Rose; two sisters, Jackie Overton and Erin Redmond Webb and stepmother, Patricia Redmond.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Redmond, and another sister, Susan Redmond Kilby.
