New School Year, New Look For LANK

Preschool officially unveils its renovations with a family ice cream party.

Students at (LANK) gathered with their parents on Sunday for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of renovations at their school.

The project, which took 11 weeks, put a new roof on the building, created a new office and enlarged two classrooms, in addition to new carpet, paint and cubbies, said Angela Cramer, president of the LANK Board of Trustees.

The renovations were primarily financed by parent fundraising. LANK has been in Reston since 1965 and at its current location on North Shore Drive since 1972. It is currently under the direction of Marilyn O'Neill and Patty Marsh.
