Amazing Preschool in Reston!

I have lived in Reston for almost ten years now and I thought I knew all of the great places to take your children for preschool, I was wrong!

I have lived in Reston for almost ten years now and I thought I knew all of the great places to take your children for preschool, I was wrong!  Tucked away behind Skatequest is a private school called ACE, Academy of Christian Education.  From the outside the school looks small and unassuming, but like the old adage says, "you can't judge a book by its cover.”   This certainly holds true with ACE.  Once you walk into the school you see the credentials and awards that this school has achieved.   ACE partners with the Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth for their school curriculum.  ACE students place two to six grades above their grade level on National tests.  If that doesn't spark your interest, then the immaculate classrooms that are full of technology, the fact that children start Spanish classes in Kindergarten, catered lunches and computer classes offered to preschoolers would make any parent take note.

Two neighbors who wanted to create a school focused on values and high academic achievement founded ACE.  As I toured the school the fact that the four year olds are starting to write cursive certainly makes a strong case for academic achievement.  Values have not taken a backseat to academics at ACE, when I entered the first classroom on my tour I was greeted by the entire class (completely unprompted) standing besides their desks saying "Good Morning Guest" in unison.  This tiny school is anything but small, if you are considering preschool or private school, ACE is a must see.  For more information about ACE, please visit:
