Let It Grow: Cedar Ridge Harvesting Bounty in Community Garden

A year after dedication, there are plenty of vegetables to share.

One year after Reston's Cedar Ridge Apartments built its community garden, residents are reaping the benefits of produce grown in their yard.

The garden is a collaboration of Reston Interfaith, Sustainable Reston, Friends of Reston and Reston Association that enables Cedar Ridge's mostly low-income residents to grow some of their own produce.

Installation of the 30'-by-30' garden got underway in May 2012.
