It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like ... Black Friday? Full Schedule of Events in Reston for Nov. 29

Your guide to the holidays in Reston, 2013.

Over the years, that day after Thanksgiving — dreaded by some and craved for by others — has become known as Black Friday.

It's not such a dark day at Reston Town Center

Santa Clause and his lovely wife will be there for the 23rd Annual Reston Holiday Parade, which steps off at 11 a.m.

Here are the highlights for the day:


8:00am - 10:00pm
HOLIDAYS ARE HERE!
8 am - Stores Open

8 am - Ice Skating Pavilion Open

8 am - Gingerbread Man Mile (for kids!)

11 am - Reston Holiday Parade sponsored by RCC & RTCA

12:30 pm - Visits & Photos with Santa

6 pm - Tree Lighting and Sing Along

5 pm - "Santa's Frosty Follies" Performance

6:30 pm - Carriage Rides

All day - Hyatt Gingerbread Village 

8:00pm - 10:00pm - Friday Night Rock 'n' Skate at The Ice Skating Pavilion

11:30pm - Insomnia Theater Series - “The Goonies” at Bow Tie Cinemas
