Reston Town Center Gears Up for 'Ride to Provide' Bike Event

Ride for a cause.

Registration is now open for "Ride to Provide," an annual charity event to help youth and wounded military personnel.

The event is hosted by NFL Pro-Bowler Lorenzo Alexander and the Washington Redskins' Kedric Golston and gets underway Saturday, April 19.

They'll be joined by  former Redskins teammates and media personalities on the W&OD Trail for rides from 10 miles to 53 miles, with the routes beginning and ending at Reston Town Center.

The event raises money for Lorenzo's ACES Foundation and Ride 2 Recovery, and Dare2tri Para- triathlon Club.

A post-ride celebration at Reston Town Center will feature music, food, and chances to win prizes and autographed items from Redskin players and sponsors.
