Art Auction For Let's Help Kids Saturday

Fun at GRACE to raise money for some extras for children in need.

There will be cocktails, food and art for auction when Let's Help Kids holds a fundraiser atin Reston Town Center on Saturday.

Let's Help Kids is a nonprofit founded by Rachel Harris, a South Riding girl who was inspired by her mother's business and philathorpic work. Harris' mother, Jen Sterling, is teh founer of Red Thinking, a marketing firm, and is active in the and the Initative for Public Art Reston (IPAR).

Let's Help Kids raises money to offer local children in need "extras" such as birthday presents, a new bicycle and other treats they might not get a chance to enjoy.

Saturday's event is from 5 to 7 p.m. and will feature food from Il Fornaio and a silent auction with works from local artists.
