Will you have Thanksgiving guests? How about giving them an alternative to watching football?
Jigsaw puzzles set out in an area where several can gather around to work them are a wonderful way to encourage your guests to work together towards a goal. They are often an inter-generational way to get people talking.
And if the puzzle doesn't get finished by the end of the day, don't worry. They say we'll get lots of snow again this year.

This doesn't have to be an expensive addition to your fall/winter fun.
Get your puzzles at the Puzzle Sale at Reston Library Nov. 3-7. Before you do, dust off the boxes of puzzles from LAST year, and donate them for some other family to enjoy. You can drop them off at the circulation desk (please tape the sides first) during regular library hours.
