Growing up, Peter’s protected life seems secure and warm inside his sheltered world living in the shadowed woods with parents Jack and Mary. As Peter comes of age as a young man, the walls of deep dark family secrets start to crumble around him only to find that his parents aren’t what they seem. After extensive research into the actual events that occurred in 1970 and the now famous legend nestled in the woods in the outskirts of Fairfax County Virginia, composers Waters and Piller have woven a musical story of fact and lore into the fabric of a musical story/rock opera, “Legend of the Bunnyman”.
Mantua Finials are Josh Rowley, Carol Gaylor, Mark Johnson, Chris Piller and Jim Waters. All are alumni to the music scene in Northern Virginia. The music combines a unique blend of rock, folk, pop, Americana dressed up in a white bunny suit of classical orchestral instrumentation.
