Did you know that 1 in 6 families in the DC Metro area are suffering from hunger? Join Herndon-Reston FISH in collecting food from shoppers at the Franklin Farm Giant store. The shoppers’ donations will provide food for Thanksgiving baskets for low-income families. Volunteers will be handing out food lists to shoppers entering the store in hopes that they will purchase food items on the list. Shoppers will then drop the food off at our table on the way out of the store.
