Shine A Light On Lung Cancer Vigil

Reston Hospital Center’s Northern Virginia Thoracic Oncology Program in partnership with The Lung Cancer Alliance will host a Shine a Light on Lung Cancer Vigil on Tuesday, November 13 at 6 p.m. in Reston Hospital Center’s conference rooms A and B.  The vigil will begin with Girl Scout Troop #5140 presenting pillows they made, as a part of their “Pillow Project”, to comfort lung cancer patients after surgery to Reston Hospital’s oncology program.  The candlelight vigil is a part of a nationwide coordinated effort to empower attendees by connecting our communities in a national call to action to reduce lung cancer by 50% by 2020.
