As the holidays quickly approach, there’s no better time than the present to brush up on your culinary skills and learn a few new techniques for the upcoming season.
Whether you tout yourself as a master chef, or are just getting your feet wet, all are invited to join favorite French bistro, Mon Ami Gabi Reston (11950 Democracy Drive) for their French Classics cooking class to learn all the secrets to traditional and seasonal French fare. On Saturday, October 27, from 10am-12pm, guests will be able to indulge in both sweet and savory items on this menu including Ricotta Cheese and Nicoise Olive Tapenade with Rustic Toast and Roast Beef Tenderloin with Pan Drippings and Caramelized Onions, served with Gratin of Potatoes. To end things on a sweet note, Pumpkin Crème brûlée and Vanilla Shortbread Cookies will be up for the making—and taking. Class attendees are encouraged to come hungry, as they’ll not only learn to whip up this delectable spread, they can enjoy a three-course lunch alongside perfectly-paired wines. Guests will also receive a recipe booklet to recreate the to-die-for dishes in their own home, compliments of Mon Ami Gabi.
