The Relay for Life is a non-competitive, overnight team walking event that gives everyone the opportunity to fight cancer and help save more lives.

A powerful nationwide movement, Relay is held in more than 5,100 communities each year.  Relay includes music, entertainment, kids' activities and inspirational ceremonies celebrating those who have survived and remembering those we have lost to a very terrible disease.

The Tennis Advisory Committee of the Reston Association organizes the tennis event held in conjunction with the Reston Relay.  Reston Tennis first partnered with ACS two years ago, when we held a charity tournament as a way to combine physical fitness with charitable giving.

Last year, we joined the Relay for Life event and played tennis on the South Lakes High School courts located next to the walking track.  In the past two years, Reston Tennis has raised over $5,600 for the ACS and the fight against cancer.
