Save the Date: Reston Home Tour is Oct. 13

"Living on the Edge" will show some of Reston's finest homes.

When the takes place on Oct. 13, participants will get a peek at "living on the edge."

"Living on the Edge" is this year's theme, and every home represents the edge of something specil - lakes, a park, a golf course or Reston Town Center, says tour chair Bonnie Haukness.

The tour runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket cost is $25 each if purchased prior to Oct. 6 and $30 each after that date and online. They are available at and in Reston Town Center, at at North Point and at and the at Lake Anne Plaza.

This is a self-guided tour of six private residences (addresses will be given out at ticket purchase) with an additional stop at Nature’s Best Photography, where there will be information on the upcoming Reston Station development from Comstock Partners’ Maggie Parker.
