Reston National Wins Game 2 at State Tourney

Marathon game ends in 19-18 victory for Little League Majors team.

Reston National earned its second victory at the Virginia Little League Championships on Saturday, defeating District 15, 19-18 in a game that took more than three hours.

The team of 11- and 12-year-old all stars, which won the District 4 championship last week, is now 2-0 in pool play. It plays its third game Sunday at 7 p.m. against District 16 (Loudoun County) at Freedom Park in Leesburg.

With Saturday's win, Reston National earned a spot in Monday's quarterfinals.
