Happy Birthday, Mr. Simon!

Reston founder turns 99 on April 10.

Reston founder Robert E. Simon is getting closer to the 100-year mark. Simon turns 99 on Wednesday, and he shows few signs of slowing down.

This week, Simon will be at the 22nd annual Best of Reston gala, where he is the honorary chairman. Simon will also helm the event next year - and has set a goal of raising $1 million over the two years for Reston Interfaith.
