Saturday's Oktoberfest Reston festivities got underway with off with the annual Anthem Great Pumpkin 5K and Kids Pumpkin Dash at Reston Town Center.

The Kids Pumpkin Dash - a straight shot down Market Street for all ages, some even racing strapped into their strollers - has become an annual fast-moving costume parade for some of Reston's youngest residents.

Proceeds benefit the YMCA Fairfax County - Reston.
